Work life balance is not always about the hustle and constantly working hard versus “binging” on vacation and days off. It’s about having the choice to work hard on the days you want, but also to do absolutely nothing on those days where you’re tired of it all. Without asking for anyone’s permission. On those “off-days” you should just enjoy life, and having the option to do whatever you want. Ultimately, that’s true freedom: being able to do what you want, with who you want, wherever you want and for as long as you want. It’s about having options.

But the opposite tends to be true. We don’t allow ourselves the options we’re truly longing for. And that creates all sorts of problems, both emotionally as well as physically. The ultimate cause of dis-ease is the stress we’re putting ourselves in. Your body system is either in fight or flight mode OR in rest and repair mode. It’s your beliefs that control that switch. The solution to bringing back that balance is really whatever works for you. Burn all the letters from your ex. Sing. Dance. Go on a trip. Whatever finds you that emotional freedom.

Stop Doing So Much

Many people work hard – very hard – and even harder to stay broke. “If I work hard the company will take care of me”, they think (or even say out loud). That used to be the rule. Work hard and stay loyal. It’s not the reality in today’s world. If you want to have any success in your life you have to take control of your life.

Isabel Allende said you are the storyteller of your own life, and you can decide to create your own legend, or not. You’re the one that decides what your goals are, and how you align your priorities with those goals. You can go after them, or not. Too often we blame things outside of our control for not getting what we want.

Permission Granted

When you’re setting goals – are you like me and want it all? Sometimes it’s ok being a little “high maintenance” – it often equates to being a high performer in your life, career and business. Which means you’ll achieve your goals faster. No shame in that. Give yourself permission to go after what you really want.

Who wants to have more freedom, more options, and more money in their life? It all comes down to mindset: how you think about “things” matters. In my popular Millionaire Mindset course I’ll introduce you to new options to save money, earn additional money, and ultimately save a lot of time. Not trying to sell you anything here – just inviting you to watch a complimentary preview of my full program.

Stop Following The Beaten Path

I don’t teach “yet another” success-scheme. Everything I teach comes from my experience because it worked for me. I’m here to show people options: different ways how you can get to your financial goals instead of following along the beaten path.
