A new approach to my email schedule

This post is an example of the content I share every Friday in my Living by Experience Magazine. If you’d like your free copy, just click here.
Several years ago I started my Living by Experience magazine about my travels and “freedompreneurship”. Until a few months ago I’ve been sending out weekly “digest” emails on Friday, summarizing all posts and new content for that week. I’ve been asked several times now why I’m not sending out an email the same day a new post appears, which is generally every Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Since Facebook doesn’t show all posts (even if you’re my friend or “like” my page), there is a chance you could miss out on a post. The point of having these emails is that you’d be one of the first to know when there’s something new to read on the blog. Then again, daily emails tend to get a bit overwhelming and increases unsubscribe rates, so I’ve decided to not go down the daily route.
The “digest” type emails have come a long way, and what you receive now every Friday (if you like) more resembles a digital magazine with everything that’s new that week, and lots of additional resources. If you’re curious to see what it’s all about, you can try it out here.
To connect one-on-one, the easiest way to reach me is via text – please say hello and stay in touch.
For my fellow bloggers: Email marketing can be tricky when you’re trying to give your customers the best in information, products and entertainment. The trick is figuring out when the best time to send an email newsletter to engage with your audience, and share just the right content. Thanks to Mailchimp, setting up a list and sharing content is easy! Interested in starting to build or improve your own list? Check it out for yourself here.Free Magazine
