Photography PrintsSometimes doing nothing is much needed to just take a break from everything else, and give our minds a rest. As they say in Italian, “dolce far niente”: the sweetness of doing nothing. Giving the mind something to think about through a good movie or a good book can be what you need to just let things go for a while. Especially if you do love what you’re doing there’s a big risk of always working, and that will just a quickly burn you out as working in a job you didn’t love. Take care of yourself, and allow yourself some “me time” regularly, with no emails, phone calls or other unimportant distractions.

Whatever you’re working on – forget about it for the rest of the day, and create something. Something useful. Something you care about.
