Once a quarter I take some time to sit down, usually with a glass of good wine, to think about the things I want to accomplish in the next couple of months. It’s a fun exercise to get clarity on where I’d like to go in life (as well as what places on this planet I’d like to visit next). I keep a small journal in which I track the highlights of my goals in all seven areas of life every quarter.
Writing goals down has many benefits. First of all it requires me to get clear on what it is that I truly want. Research has shown that writing down your goals is a huge contributor to attaining them. Once your mind gets clear on what you want, it will subconsciously start to look for opportunities in your environment to attain those goals.
Like the Law of Attraction states: like attracts like. Whether you really attract something in the literal sense of the word, or merely start to recognize things that were already there, is the same thing. What matters is that writing goals down will help you reach whatever goal you’ll set for yourself.
My latest Happiness book shares a more detailed approach and practical steps about turning your goals and dreams into reality much faster. Get your copy of my bestselling books on Amazon today, or order one directly at www.freedomprojectbook.com.
