5 Reasons I Didn’t Move To Vancouver… But Love Visiting
It’s with mixed feelings but a happy heart that after 11+ years in Calgary I’ve decided it’s time for change. After being landlocked for this long I miss being near the water. Real water: salty water. So it’s time to move on and I’ve got my destination set for Vancouver’s West Coast. Or… so I thought…
This past week that initially happy heart has been ripped out and reality-checked back into place… I thought only New York had that kind of destructive power but it turns out Vancouver is a tough mistress too.
Long story short, here’s my top 5 learnings and realizations from my exploration trip:
Yes, I love being near the beach. On a HOT day in let’s say Maui / Mexico / BahaMas (I guess any sunny destination with an M will do). Not endless days of rain where it’s cold and miserable and everything gets wet. Which brings me to my next point.
