I question I get all the time: Can you actually fly for free? Well, I typically choose to still pay the taxes because not having to pay taxes on a flight may be more difficult to get – but not impossible. For example, I’ve flown from Canada all the way to South America for only $150 in taxes.
It gets better. When I got to the airport, the check-in lady asked me if I wanted to upgrade to Business Class, and she offered me a Business Class seat for only $135. So needless to say I took that flight. So for a total of about 300 bucks I flew Business Class from Canada all the way to South America!
The guy that was sitting beside me in Business Class was ranting about the fact that he paid over $3000 for that very same seat, same level of service, same everything. I hope by now that he has a copy of my book – which I hadn’t written at that time.
