Canadian Thanksgiving: Your early reminder to develop an Attitude of Gratitude
Today is Thanksgiving again for the Canadians. We’re a little ahead of the game here up North. Not unlikely because very soon hell might freeze over once more. Might as well get Thanksgiving out of the way. But the time of year doesn’t matter. Anytime is a good time to practice developing an attitude of gratitude.

People often become discontent with their lives and surroundings. It’s no surprise. There is an entire “self-help” industry set up to make us feel inadequate. We are not thin enough, not rich enough, not hip enough. The message that surrounds us is loud and clear: You are not good enough.
And we buy it. Think about it. Ask yourself, how many times have you postponed your happiness? How many times do you catch saying, “If only this happens, then I’d be happy”. It might be that new house, a new job, a new relationship. If you get caught up in this way of thinking you will never be happy. …
