This cause is personal to me—my mom is legally blind, and her guide dog has made a world of difference in her life.
This February, I’m lacing up my running shoes once more for a cause that’s incredibly close to my heart. On February 23rd, I’ll be running 5k in Vancouver’s RunGo Dash for Dogs to support BC & Alberta Guide Dogs, an organization that empowers individuals with disabilities through the incredible bond and service of guide dogs.
Why This Cause Matters to Me
As many of you know, my mom is legally blind. Watching her journey has shown me just how life-changing a guide dog can be. These remarkable companions provide independence, confidence, and mobility that transform lives. Supporting BC & Alberta Guide Dogs means supporting countless individuals who, like my mom, rely on these smart and devoted animals every day.
