Gratitude: The secret ingredient of success
One of the most inspiring things you can do for yourself is to find gratitude in your everyday life. Just take some time every day to be consciously grateful for the things in our life that we are grateful for – and that includes being grateful for unpleasant things that did not happen.
But instead of being grateful, we tend to be negative and complain. Complaining can be a powerful addiction. Think about the last time someone asked you how you were doing, how your day went, or how the weather was. How did you respond? Was your response one of excitement? Or was it a lukewarm “it’s ok”, or maybe even downright negative? Contrary to how bleak life may look to you at times, if you list at least 3-5 aspects of your life with gratefulness, your attitude and outlook will shift.
