Is travel an escape?

Instead of sharing things that we’re passionate about, with energy and with drive, we kinda kill our own energy and we don’t seem to be excited about our own lives. We’re not being our authentic self, we’re not sharing the things that truly matter to us.

We settle for being mediocre.

I recognize that in my own life, especially while travelling, travel was an appetizer of freedom. I used travel as a way to get away from a life that I didn’t even liked in the first place.

While I was away that worked great and I had a fantastic time. But whenever I came back, within maybe 2 or 3 days, I was back to the stress levels that I had before – and I needed another vacation.
