My Top 3 Foodie Travel Destinations In The United States (So Far)

All of my favorite destinations have one thing in common: it’s possible to live very well, without spending much. And the list includes cities that appear to be expensive, like Tokyo, New York, and Paris, just to name a few. Most of these cities I know like the back of my hand, which makes it much easier to find the cheap, but excellent, places to eat and stay.
But even if you’re not familiar with a new city, it’s possible to find something good to eat, without necessarily spending all that much. Or staying at the hotel. I love to eat like a local when I travel, and avoid the tourist traps as much as possible. To find some great foodie destinations, you don’t have to go far. Close to home (for me), here’s my top 3 foodie destinations in the US. And trust me, it doesn’t matter where in the world I go: room service is never on the list.
