My wolf encounters
I’ve had a few close encounters with wolves in the wild. I’ll never forget those exhilarating moments when adrenaline is rushing through my body. My mind is fighting to keep me safe and the photographer in me is trying to capture every second of this unique intersection between human and wolf.
Wolves are, like me, often misunderstood. They are beautiful and wild, never able to be tamed, the epitome of freedom. We’re all born free, and the sense of riding my motorcycle gives me exactly that sense of freedom. I feel like an uncaged human being, running wild and free with the wolves.
Some of the very best friends I’ve ever had have four paws. Animals can sense sadness and pain. When we need it the most they have the intuition to give us the unconditional attention and love we need to carry on. In the end all we want is to be accepted and loved for who we are.
