Do you remember the last travel picture you took?

As a travel photographer, I take a lot of pictures when I’m on the road. But no matter what trip I’m on, there’s always that very last picture I took. And usually, until I get home, I don’t realize a certain moment turns out to be the very last picture of a trip. As I go through the sometimes thousands of images I take on longer journeys – all of a sudden it’s there: the last picture.

What is the last travel picture you took? Do you remember the moment?

I like surrounding myself with images of places I’ve visited, and, sometimes even of places I still want to visit. My inspiration comes from travelling all over the world: I fell in love with the exceptional things I saw and the remarkable people who crossed my path. My photographic art is my way of giving some of my travel memories back to the world, but my work also carries an important invitation – to go see all the beauty this world has to offer for yourself. That’s why I wrote my book about travel hacking, allowing many others to use my travel secrets to fly for free.
