How Technology Helps Entrepreneurs: The Apps I Use To Run My Business
Web September 10, 2021 Wilko van de Kamp

This post is an example of the content I share every Friday in my Living by Experience Magazine. If you’d like your free copy, just click here.
I’ve come to realize I have zero tolerance for poor customer service. Service is a mindset, not a department. At the start of this year I promised myself: No more poor service. When a partner or vendor consistently fails to perform and deliver outstanding customer service, they will be replaced.
Beware as I’ll publicly complain and Tweet about companies I’m unhappy about. I have zero tolerance for a poor service mindset. For example, while Microsoft continues their uninspired anti-Apple ad campaign I’ve cancelled my Office 365 subscription and kicked out all other Microsoft products. Good riddance, as far as I’m concerned.
“Complaining does not work as a strategy. We all have finite time and energy. Any time we spend whining is unlikely to help us achieve our goals. And it won’t make us happier.” ~ Randy Pausch
The opposite is true too, though. Complaining does not work as a strategy. I’d much rather spend my time on working with the right companies, and removing those who don’t perform from the list of providers I pay every month. Vote with your dollars. The goal is to work with more companies who are deserving of a positive shoutout. It creates a much more fun environment as a creative entrepreneur when you know you have some amazing support teams that you can count on when something goes wrong.
