The only thing more fun than cashing in monthly royalty cheques from my publisher is teaching others how to do the same. When my first book came out a lot of people asked me how I did it: how did I go from writing an “entire” book, to finding a publishing home for it and turning it into a real, printed book. When that book turned into a number one bestseller, even more people asked that curious question: “how did you do it?”
A lot of people have the dream of “some day” writing a book – but never get to it. They think they’re not able to do it, or will never create something “good enough” to get it published. So they never start. Yet some experts say everyone has a book inside of them. I took that, and the questions people asked me about writing books and getting them published, to heart – and decided to create something to share my experience in the hope it would help some of them on their journey of turning a book dream into a reality.
When I launched the original version of my Write a Book in a Week program, I set a goal to coach ten people to write their book. That turned out to be a combined number of over 50 (!) budding authors in the first few months, in 12 different countries around the world. Exciting times! When setting goals we often get so tangled up in the “how” something is going to happen, while all you have to focus on is the “what” and “why” – the how will sort it self out. And in my case, the “how” tends to be a 180 degrees different from what we thought it would be. It’s about helping people to get to where they want to be so they can eventually help me become where I want to be in helping even more people. In that order. But the first thing is to be of service – and to get started.
With a growing number of students from all over the world it was time to update the program, and add new content. In the past few weeks I’ve been quietly working on a new version of the program: Write a Book in a Week “2.0”. Now, almost a year after it’s initial launch, I’ve added a wealth of additional information and bonus resources to the already full curriculum – and I’m ready to admit the first class of new students into the updated program, which shares my story of becoming a best selling author, and all the benefits becoming an author can have to all areas of your life. I’ve literally turned my experience into a step-by-step proven method, which will guide you to write your book in about a week’s time, publish and sell it! Are you ready to get started on your book dream, and become a best seller?Write a Book in a Week
