It is said everyone has a book inside of them. Have you ever thought of writing your book? It’s one thing to write a book, it’s an entirely different thing to write one that’s a saleable, viable, marketable product. Ensuring the success of a book is something even the biggest publishers have never been able to guarantee. Mitigating circumstances, flash trends, and world events will all affect buyer preferences. That said, there are still ways to leverage the sales-factor in your favour.

Paying close attention to the three different stages of writing a book and becoming an author will help you incorporate these aspects into your book and help you uncover marketing opportunities that will help make your book a success.

Plan and Write your book: connect with the story inside of you and discover your purpose for writing a book. Why would you want to write a book and what can you write about? Are there any “holes” out there your book could fill? What do you know about trends related to your book/topic/audience?

Publish your book: writing the book is easy – now the fun begins. How and where to publish your words? Will you actually be able to hold your own printed book in your hands? Have you read all ten “competing” books in your category? If you haven’t, you should. You’ll want to know everything you can about what’s out there and how it’s being perceived in the marketplace and the publishers servicing it. It’s never a problem having a similar topic – when I came out with my travel hacking book The Freedom Project I knew there were many other books out there on travel. I just angled my book differently – and it became a bestseller.

Sell your book: Being a published author can open many doors for you that remained closed before. I’ve been interviewed on radio and television, and landed several high paying jobs simply because I had written a book. Contrary to popular belief, writing a book definitely can increase your income. I’ve seen people double and triple their income after publishing their book!

Write a Book in a Week shares my story of becoming a best selling author, and all the benefits becoming an author can have to all areas of your life. I’ve turned my experience into a proven method, which will guide you to write your book in about a week’s time, publish and sell it! Are you ready to become a best seller?
