If you are a creative entrepreneur then you likely know of the troubles and difficulties that go into starting and growing your (side) business. Being young and having creativity on your side is a big advantage. But what else can you do to give yourself that competitive advantage? The following are six of the millionaire secrets help start your business and set it up for growth along the way.

1. Marketing is Key

One of the first things you will learn when starting your own business is that marketing is everything. No excuses. I used to hate marketing, and even today I tell my clients I’m not a marketing guru by any means – but I know enough to be dangerous. Marketing is the first of the millionaire secrets. The marketing of your product or service will make or break your company’s success. Period. Marketing should always continue, even long after (and while) your business becomes successful. That doesn’t mean spending money on advertising, by the way. Marketing ultimately is the story you tell about yourself that sets you aside from the crowd, and makes your business unique. My Growth Hacking online course dives further into that topic, and helps you uncover the unique angle in your story.

2. Finding the Idea

The second secret is the fact that millionaire generating ideas can come from anywhere and anyone. I love visiting Las Vegas, and I’ve been occasionally invited to their “Millionaire Maker” event. It’s a slots tournament where you can ultimately win a million dollars, and become a millionaire. That being said, the odds of striking it big with a business idea are probably better. For this reason you should always keep an open mind when running your business. Some of the best ideas for your company can come from your basic activities, going through your daily routine. Whenever the idea strikes, make a note of it and take inspired action.

3. The New Networking

Networking is very important to any business. The millionaire secret is to make sure you always attempt to network above the level of where you’re at today. Who has already achieved the results that you’re looking for today? Try to get in touch with those people. Subscribe to their newsletters, attend their events, sign up for their online courses. Whatever it takes: get exposure to those who have already achieved the goals you’re still working towards. In our virtual day and age, this has become more easier than ever before. You have all the information you need right at your fingertips.

You become the average of the five people you spend most of your time with. So pick those five wisely. Be selective in the events you choose to attend with if you want to have benefits you’re looking for.

4. Scale for Growth

Many feel that in order to become a millionaire and have a successful business (or side hustle) you will need to start strong and make all your money right away so you don’t have to wait for results. I don’t agree. “Overnight results” take a long time. I like a baby-step approach. Instead of setting a large income goal, try to make an additional $50 or $500 this month. Whichever seems most attainable to you. And when you figure that one out, repeat the process over and over again.

The best millionaire businesses are willing to start out small and grow at a slow, sustainable rate. It’s about building the right foundation and establishing a framework you can repeat. Once you do, you have a “license to print money” by simply repeating your process over and over again. The fastest method is never the best when it comes to making money. The sustainable one is.

5. Healthy Competition

Always be aware of your competition. Who offers the same (or similar) products and services as you, from a customers perspective? Keep an eye out on the competition, and set yourself aside from the crowd by leveraging your story as your unique angle to approach the market.

Never allow your awareness of the competition to distract you too much from your goals. Rather than focusing all your attention on beating your competition you should instead focus on striving for excellence yourself and you will out do your competition every time.

The six millionaire secrets will help you to get the most from your startup business. By taking advantage of these tips you will have a business that will not only start out great, but will also flourish. So go out and find your business today, apply these tips and enjoy millionaire success.

6. Don’t Go At It Alone

It’s not necessarily lonely at the top, but the journey there can be from time to time. I consider myself blessed to have worked and studied with some of today’s greatest teachers, including Jack Canfield, Dr. Joe Vitale, Dr. John Demartini, Tony Robbins, Harv Eker, and many others.

In my Millionaire Mindset course, I share my interpretation on what I’ve learned from all my mentors – combined into one powerful program.

Does any of this sound familiar?

  • You have too much work to do and too little time to do it.
  • You spend all your time worrying about your job and spend little to no time with your family and friends.
  • You want to get ahead at work, but you don’t want to give up the rest of your life to do it.
  • You’d love to start a business (or side hustle) but don’t quite know what your options are yet.

Am I right so far?

Even if you answered “maybe” to at least one of the questions above; if you are stressed, tired and overworked with no time for yourself, your family or your friends, I’d love to share a preview of my course with you today.
